Stranger Collective are committed to nourishing their creativity with new ideas. Each year they offer a two-month internship to bring a fresh perspective to their team and provide a great opportunity to gain some experience working with international clients. By accessing the Cultivator internship programme, they were able to extend the duration of this opportunity to six months. This enabled Stranger to test the viability of hiring somebody for this role on a permanent basis.
“We feel it’s incredibly important that we’ve got new blood coming into the business at all times so that we are drawing on those new perspectives and different ways of thinking.”
Stranger found the ideal candidate for their new intern in Phylly Bleumel. Phylly has assisted in production, studio and project management, helping Stranger to deliver ambitious projects such as their non-conventional creative conference Strangers on a Train, a feast of inspirational speakers and ideas that took place on a 1930’s steam train in November 2017. They’ve been so impressed with Phylly that they have extended the placement for another six months.
