Artists Alessandra Ausenda and Lizzie Black founded Tough Dough a non-profit organisation in 2005 to highlight the richness of Cornish traditions, heritage and culture. They do this through the visual arts, celebratory events and intergenerational activities that engage diverse communities and audiences.
Tough Dough will share their experiences of working in a variety of settings and with many sectors of the community, partners and funders. The day will cover discussion and practical sessions to include:
- Discussing strategies, troubleshooting & context
- Planning workshop content, skills, materials and methods
- Fundraising and collaboration
- Practice sharing
What you’ll need to bring
Please bring along an example of something you might want to base a workshop on. This could be a prototype or an idea and you may have issues connected to it you wish to discuss and find solutions to. There will be plenty of opportunities to share best practice and explore possibilities and future collaborations. We want this to be an inspiring, useful and supportive day for all!
