Creative Kernow

Creative Kernow

Creative Kernow, based at Krowji, is the umbrella organisation for the following nine projects. Together we support the production, promotion and distribution of work by creative practitioners in Cornwall because we believe in creativity’s transformative power and want more people to benefit from it.

Invitation to Tender

Tender for the co-ordination and delivery of our social media output

We’re launching a brand new tendering opportunity for the co-ordination and delivery of our social media output for the remainder of the Cultivator project (this means right the way up to September 2022).

As we move into the staggered return to the new normal, we’re eager to help our clients keep connected and to showcase the successes of the project to the wider world We work with a broad range of creative and cultural businesses and organisations in Cornwall, which includes (but is not limited to): artists, makers, designers, musicians, dancers, theatres, museums, galleries, filmmakers and digital developers. Many of them use social media as an essential part of their business, and they often have different primary platforms.

The successful tenderer will be responsible for strategising, creating and delivering engaging, imaginative content for Cultivator’s social media channels, including Instagram, Facebook, Twitter and newsletters (via Mailchimp). They will also undertake a small amount of very short content production (e.g. short video or animation) once a month and place content made by clients or other film & photography providers.

The deadline for submissions is 30th September 2020.

Clarification Questions

Please could you clarify the weighting of the assessment criteria

This question arose when one of our eagle-eyed applicants noticed that our percentage breakdown of the assessment criteria added up to 110% (oops). Whilst we hope that all potential applicants will give 110% to the project, this was indeed a mistake and the correct weighting adds up as follows:

  • Previous experience of delivering a piece of work of a similar size complexity/context.  [20%]
  • Capability & capacity to deliver the work, including previous experience, skills & knowledge of staff.  [20%]
  • Strength, thoroughness & creativity of methodology / proposed approach & understanding of brief & audiences.  [30%]
  • Value for money.  [30%]

This has now been amended in the ITT document linked above.
