The Creative Export Grant is a grant scheme within the Creative Export Programme. It is designed to help you investigate potential overseas markets. In the past, people have applied to this scheme to tour a theatre show internationally, attend overseas trade shows and conferences, or revamp a website to make it more friendly to non-UK customers.

We recommend that you go through the workshop series before you apply for a Creative Export Grant as it will equip you with important knowledge to make the most out of the grant opportunity. If you believe you are already proficient in the world of exporting it may be possible to apply for the grant without attending the workshops. You will need to speak to our Trade & Investment Manager if you wish to do this.

We understand that export investigation projects are likely to vary in shape and scope and so there is no fixed amount. You will work closely with our Trade & Investment Manager to put together an application and they will advise you on how much you can feasibly apply for.

Applying to this scheme is a competitive process. Even if you are eligible and your advisor has given you their support, there’s no guarantee of success. However, attending the workshops and working closely with our trade advisor will certainly strengthen your case
